Archdiocese of Newark requires all parent volunteers (class parents, coaches, etc.) to complete the Protecting God's Children Program.
Please complete the steps in the following order:
1. Anyone wishing to volunteer/Class Parent must complete an application. The form is listed below. Please print, fill out and submit to St. Peter School Office. This form also authorizes the background check. Applicant must also read and sign a Code of Conduct Agreement. Must complete a 3-hour training at a training site listed on www.virtus.org.

2. Upon successful completion of Protecting God's Children Program, a certificate will be provided that will remain effective for 3 years.
3. After 3 years, recertification requires ongoing training. Visit www.virtus.org to recertify. Applicant must have a valid e-mail address in order to receive updates to online training modules provided.
Note: Once you've attended, please forward a copy of your certificate of participation to the SPS office.
